    Major  Cybersecurity, Network Computer Management

My plans after graduation  I want to move on to a 4-year college and get a bachelor's degree in either cybersecurity or computer management/systems administration. After that, I would like to find a job in a company that does a lot with technology. Going for a job in cybersecurity introduces a sort of a "challenge" to every day work, making it unique and fun to tackle. When you are faced with challenges on the job, it opens up opportunities to learn and expand your horizons.

School activities that I am involved in  I am currently a student worker at the Edison State IT Helpdesk at the Piqua campus. This ties in wonderfully with my career path as it allows me to study while on the job, get hands-on experience with the latest hardware and learn new things about computer systems.

What I like to do in my free time  In my free time I enjoy playing video games, namely competitive ones, such as League of Legends and Overwatch. More casually, I enjoy playing the Nintendo Switch and various other titles.

What influenced my decision to choose this major  From a young age I worked with computers. I built my first custom PC in 2013, for gaming and performance. In high school, I had the opportunity to be a member of a new Career Tech Education program. This two-and-a-half-year program really sold me on the idea of how the workforce was embracing new technologies and how they are becoming increasingly important in everyday life.
