  • Financial aid

There are various types of aid available to help you pay for your education.

  • An affordable quality education is attainable. We offer one of the lowest tuition rates in Ohio. More than 61% of students attending Edison State Community College receive some form of financial aid including grants, scholarships, educational loans and/or part–time work-study employment. Edison State provides an excellent value whether you want to pursue an associate degree or complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree.

NOTE  To ensure security and timeliness, all financial aid information will be communicated to students via their Edison State email accounts. Postal addresses will be used for students who do not have an email address on file.

How Much Does It Cost?  We encourage all individuals to further their education and make every effort to maintain tuition and fees at the lowest possible level. Review our tuition tables for details.

    Financial Aid
We realize that the expense of a college education may feel overwhelming. You, as a student, are primarily responsible for financing your education, but the Financial Aid Office is here to help you explore various sources of funding. This is where you will find forms and other important information.

    Payment Options
We work with you to provide payment options that meet your needs. Pay now with cash, check or credit card. Pay later by using the deferred payment plan. Financial Aid is also available to those who qualify.

Scholarships  Scholarships are a form of gift aid that typically does not have to be repaid. Academic merit is typically the basis for determination of scholarship recipients, although financial need is also sometimes taken into consideration. Scholarships may be awarded based upon a variety of criteria.

    TAA/WIOA Funding
Funding may be available to students through the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) or the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA). TAA is a federally-funded program that assists workers whose jobs have been impacted by foreign imports and job outsourcing. WIOA provides federal job-training funds for adults and dislocated workers.
