    Get involved on campus. With many clubs and activities to choose from, you can enhance your leadership skills or focus on your specific field of study. We strive to offer opportunities that will enhance your life while at Edison State and beyond.

  • The mission of the Accounting Club is to provide opportunities for accounting students to explore and develop their career paths through education, networking with business professionals and serving the community. One of our many goals, and arguably the most important, is to help members secure internships and job offers. Through an affiliation with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), we allow students to get a first-hand glimpse of the continuing education and networking events that professionals in the accounting industry attend.     Charger Music Society

    The Charger Music Society aims to encourage and facilitate the pursuit and participation in music-related activities by students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members. For more information contact Chris Braun.

    CRU Life is an interdenominational, student Christian organization seeking to provide a spiritual environment for Edison State students. Membership is open to anyone who has an active interest in its activities and who is in agreement with the policies of CRU. For more information contact Tom Looker.

    The Chemistry Club is a student-led club and will be a student affiliate chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Club participants will be encouraged to join the ACS as student members. The Club will perform chemistry demonstrations at elementary and/or middle schools, as well as participate in other activities. For more information contact Mark Wanamaker.

    The Edison State Creative Writing Club is dedicated to providing a venue for students to explore literary genres, give feedback to one another and pursue publishing opportunities. Students majoring in all disciplines are encouraged to join and use the written words to explore their creativity. For more information contact Dr. Vivian Blevins.

    Through the generosity of the Duke Foundation and a number of other local businesses, Edison State Community College is proud to provide the community with an 18-hole Disc Golf Course at the Piqua Campus. The course includes 5' x 10' concrete tee-pads, five holes with alternate pin locations, a practice area, benches, shelters, tee-signs and an information kiosk.

    The LGBTQIA+Alliance exists as a safe space for students in all stages of their gender identity and their straight allies. This club will focus on social support, social service, pro-active and informational activities. For more information contact Dr. Loleta Collins or Dr. Jessica Chambers.

    The Board Game Club offers members of the Edison State community, the opportunity to play both old and new board games for competitive fun. Meet new people, learn new games and play your old favorites. For more information contact Susan Barth.

    The mission of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is to build leaders who make a better world. The Society is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers life-changing lectures from the nation's leading presenters and a community where like-minded, success-oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed.     Phi Theta Kappa is the national honorary society for two-year college students, offering recognition for scholastic excellence and opportunities to serve the College and the community. Society members develop broader knowledge and leadership skills. The Edison State chapter, Alpha Lambda Eta, requires students to have a 3.5 grade point average to be eligible.     The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Club is open to all students in Edison State's PTA program as well as any student interested in the PTA program. The mission of the student PTA Club is to promote the profession at Edison State and in the community through service and outreach. Email for more information.

    The Society for Business and Human Resource Management (SBHRM) will become an integral part of college life at Edison State Community College for those students entering the business world after graduation. With the tools afforded by Edison State's chapter, members are equipped with the contacts, the knowledge and the know-how to be the best in their field.     The Stagelight Players are dedicated to captivating audiences with an artistic and dramatic flair that is certain to please all ages. The Stagelight Players commit themselves to one Shakespeare production in the spring, as well as a classic story or modern play in the fall. For more information contact William Loudermilk.

    Student Senate serves as the voice of Edison State students. We devote time in helping make Edison State the best social, educational and community driven college it can be. Joining Student Senate has many benefits including meeting new people, developing leadership skills, getting involved on campus and it's a great resume builder. Those interested in joining Student Senate are encouraged to submit an application. Applications are available via email or in Student Services | Room 160.

    The Xtreme Bots Club provides the opportunity to design, build and fight battle robots. Come join the fun and please dress accordingly, as we will be cutting metal, welding and wiring. No experience necessary. For more information contact David Barth.
