The Edison State Community College Illuminate the Future Annual Scholarship Campaign is a true reflection of our Edison State community—of who we are—and who we have been since our inception. We believe that Edison State allows our students to dream and provides the opportunity and foundation for them to realize their dreams.
Since 1973, Edison State Community College has grown, at both our Piqua Campus and our Darke County Campus in Greenville. Enrollment and offerings have increased from 309 students in 1973 to more than 4,500 students enrolled today in approximately 30 technical fields, a broad range of baccalaureate transfer programs and continuing education options. For several years, Edison State has been the first choice of regional students. To accommodate enrollment growth and to meet the evolving needs of our students, we continue to transform our campus. Edison State is quickly becoming a vital player in the economic success of our area. Enhancing economic development, we are partnering with corporations in programs that lead to innovative curriculum and workforce development for our students—and that means jobs for our graduates and a skilled workforce for our region.
