    Retired Teacher—Auditing an ASL course

    I have a grandson who wears hearing aids and studying ASL will allow us to communicate if his hearing loss progresses. 

    Do you have children and/or pets?  two children, eight grandchildren  

    What is your favorite hobby or boredom buster?  Spanish, singing harmony

    What is the last goal you set for yourself—that you achieved?  My husband and I traveled out west in our RV, with two granddaughters. We put the RV in storage in Salt Lake City, flew home to Tipp City, returned via Amtrak with two grandsons and drove the RV back.

    What do you do to relax?  Spanish, reading novels, bike riding  

    If you had your own late-night talk show, who would you invite as your first guest?  My nephew and his wife who are both MDs working as missionaries in Kenya

    What song or album could you listen to on repeat?  "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" by Elton John

    If you had to delete all but three apps on your phone, which ones would you keep?  Duolingo, Facebook, Wordscapes

    If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?  sushi 

    Are you an "early riser" or a "night owl?"  early riser 

    Would you try space tourism if money were no object?  Oh, yeah 

    What is one popular book, TV show or movie that you have never read or seen?  "Game of Thrones" 

    What is your favorite season?  Fall 

    What influenced your decision to choose the major or career path that you did?   I am a retired public school teacher and since I retired I have taken five Spanish classes and am now learning ASL. I have a grandson who wears hearing aids and studying ASL will allow us to communicate if his hearing loss progresses.
