Edison State Community College will host State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) training beginning June 28, 2023. This accelerated course provides students with a local classroom and clinical environment led by knowledgeable and experienced instructors. It allows students to begin working as an STNA in a few short weeks.

The Edison Foundation and Edison State Community College are teaming up to host the fifth annual Drive for Scholarships golf scramble on Friday, July 28. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the student scholarship program, which provides Edison State students with the opportunity to attain higher education.

Edison State Community College saluted the contributions of military personnel and veterans during a recent Military Service Flag Dedication. The display, which has been placed outside the Veterans’ Lounge at the Piqua Campus, includes the flags of the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force, as well as the POW/MIA and United States flags.

Edison State Community College and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys have joined forces to offer a certification program in Phlebotomy during the Summer Semester, which runs June 5–July 29, 2023. Classes will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4–9 p.m. at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.

Through a 2022 Regional Education Partnership Grant from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE), Edison State Community College has formed the West Central Ohio Regional Education Partnership (WCOREP). On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 6 p.m. in Room 406 at Edison State Community College, Judy Cordonnier, a specialist in learning disabilities with degrees from Wright State University and the University of Dayton and the mother of an adult son with autism, will present a seminar on living with autism for teachers, Edison State students, and members of the community.
