The Edison State Community College Workforce Development & Work-Based Learning office will host three Leadership & Supervisor Development workshops during the fall of 2026. Designed for leaders at every level, these interactive and engaging learning experiences help participants strengthen critical skills, enhance team performance, and drive organizational success. Through practical, real-world application, leaders gain the tools and confidence needed to navigate challenges, inspire their teams, and achieve results.

The Office of Workforce Development & Work-Based Learning will hold each workshop from 9 a.m. to noon at Edison State’s Piqua Campus. Workshops include:

  • Tuesday, September 22, Coaching Skills for Effective Leaders: In this interactive workshop, participants will learn practical coaching techniques that build trust, improve communication, and inspire greater ownership and accountability. Through real-world scenarios, discussion, and hands-on practice, leaders will leave with a simple framework they can immediately apply to help their teams solve problems, grow their skills, and achieve stronger results.
  • Tuesday, October 13, Peer Today, Boss Tomorrow: Making the leap from peer to boss is never easy. New managers often struggle to balance old coworker relationships with new management responsibilities. This workshop presents four proven strategies to help leaders navigate changing relationships and prepare for difficult situations they may encounter as they assume their new role.
  • Tuesday, November 3, Conflict to Collaboration: Conflict Management for Leaders: Conflict is a natural part of leading people, but how leaders respond can strengthen relationships, build trust, and improve team performance. In this interactive workshop, leaders will learn practical strategies for addressing conflict with confidence, navigating difficult conversations, and turning disagreements into opportunities for collaboration and growth. Participants will leave with actionable tools they can immediately apply to foster healthier communication, stronger teams, and a more positive workplace culture, regardless of industry or organization.

Register for a single workshop for $129 or the three-session series for $350. For more information or to register, email Trisha Elliott, Coordinator of Client Relations & Program Outreach, or call 937.778.7811.
