Edison State Hosting CNA Training Beginning January 14
Edison State Community College will host Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training beginning January 14, 2026. This course provides students with local classroom and clinical training led by experienced instructors and allows them to begin working as a CNA in a few short weeks.

The course will run from January 14 to February 6, 2026, with classes taking place January 14, 20, 22, 27, and 29, and February 3 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Edison State at Troy. A virtual class will take place on February 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students will complete clinicals on January 31 and February 1 from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The clinical education will take place at VanCrest in Troy.
The demand for CNAs is high locally and across the state. Students who complete this training can find job opportunities with hospitals, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and home health care providers. Additionally, many nursing schools in Ohio require applicants to complete CNA training as a program prerequisite.
