RN to BSN Fair

Edison State Community College is hosting a Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Fair on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Emerson Center at the Piqua Campus. During the event, current nursing students and practicing nurses can learn about advanced degree options available after obtaining an RN license and discover how earning a BSN can expand career opportunities, enhance leadership skills, and prepare them for future educational goals.

Representatives from area colleges and universities will be available to share information about their completion programs and guide interested nurses toward their next steps for enrollment. This event allows prospective students to learn about many programs during one visit. The faculty and administration at Edison State work collaboratively with all represented universities to provide a smooth pathway to the BSN.

Attendees can also learn about continuing their education with the RN to BSN completion program available at Edison State. This program focuses on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to practice evidence-based, client-centered nursing. Students support nursing practices with clinical judgment; integrate research and current evidence-based practices into nursing judgment; combine standards of practice, effective communication, delegation, and collaboration skills to further improve partnerships across all health care disciplines; and evaluate the impact of technology used to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
