Students in Edison State Community College’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program had the chance to participate in a CareFlight demonstration on Friday, July 5. Students learned how to identify landing zones, communicate with CareFlight about landing and takeoff, and properly load a patient.

Edison State Community College will host State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) training beginning June 26, 2024. This course provides students with local classroom and clinical training led by experienced instructors and allows them to begin working as an STNA in a few short weeks.

Parnell Faculty Distinction Recognition recipients, which includes Beka Lindeman, Associate Professor of English at Edison State Community College. The AACC recognized recipients during the Outstanding Alumni and Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty brunch, part of its annual conference recently held in Louisville, Kentucky.
