    The Wright Path Program makes the transfer process between Edison State Community College and Wright State University (Dayton or Lake)—seamless and easy. Your dream of a four-year degree is now within reach through the Wright Path program. Start at Edison State with an associate degree and transfer to Wright State to complete your bachelor's degree—and enjoy the experiences and communities at both locations.

    What the Wright Path Program has to offer

    • Receive automatic eligibility for Wright State transfer scholarships valued at up to $3,500 per year.
    • Enjoy an easy credit transfer process and access to dedicated academic advisors at both schools.
    • Easy-to-follow transfer guides help you maximize your transfer credits and inform you ahead of time, of any program specific requirements and/or application processes.
    • Participate in Wright State student organizations and clubs while studying at Edison State.
    • Meet and network with other veteran and military students at both schools.
    • Live in Wright State campus housing while studying at Edison State.
  • To join the Wright Path program, simply apply for Wright Path admission through the Wright Path portal. Once you apply, the Wright Path team will take care of the rest. No additional paperwork is needed.

    If you are a high school student, you need to have completed your junior year before applying to the Wright Path program. If you are a current Edison State student, you must be in good academic standing and have at least one (1) semester remaining at Edison State before transferring to Wright State.

    You application will be processed by Wright State upon submission. You can monitor the status of your application through the Wright Path portal. Once accepted into the program, you are welcome to apply for Wright State housing through the portal.

    One semester prior to transitioning to Wright State, apply for Undergraduate Admission as a transfer student.

    You will need a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for transition to Wright State. Additional requirements may be required depending upon your major, in order to be fully admitted.

    The Wright Path program is a opportunity for Edison State students who are interested in earning a bachelor's degree from Wright State.

    To be eligible for the Wright Path program, you must

    • have graduated OR will be graduating from high school or earned an equivalent credential
    • be currently enrolled or admitted to enroll for the next term at Edison State Community College (non-College Credit Plus).

    Once you are admitted into the Wright Path program, the next step will be to meet with academic advisors. Advisors from both Edison State and Wright State will help you develop your program of study.

    Students in the Wright Path program have the option to apply for housing at Wright State University. Students must complete a Wright Path housing application once admitted into the program. The housing application will become available in the Wright Path portal upon admission.

    If you are planning to use financial aid to pay for housing, the first step is to apply for FAFSA for Edison State. Next, you will work with the Financial Aid Office at Edison State to complete the process. Wright State and Edison State will work together throughout this process to secure housing.
