CRU Life is an interdenominational, student Christian organization seeking to provide a spiritual environment for Edison State students. Through the generosity of the Duke Foundation and a number of other local businesses, Edison State Community College is proud to provide the community with an 18-hole Disc Golf Course at the Piqua Campus. The course includes 5' x 10' concrete tee-pads, five holes with alternate pin locations, a practice area, benches, shelters, tee-signs and an information kiosk. Equally Regardless of Sexuality (EROS) is a club for individuals that identify with or have friends or family that are homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, metasexual, transsexual, asexual, transgendered or curious. The mission of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is to build leaders who make a better world. The Society is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers life-changing lectures from the nation's leading presenters and a community where like-minded, success-oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. Phi Theta Kappa, the national honorary society for two-year college students, offers recognition for scholastic excellence and opportunities to serve the College and community. Society members develop broader knowledge and leadership skills. Alpha Lambda Eta, Edison State's chapter, requires students to have a 3.5 grade point average to be eligible. The Stagelight Players are dedicated to captivating audiences with an artistic and dramatic flair that's certain to please audiences of all ages. Student Ambassadors serve as both role models for potential students and representatives of the College. Their purpose is to support Enrollment Managers in recruiting efforts and to have fun while doing so. Student Senate serves as the voice of Edison State students. We devote time in helping make Edison State the best social, educational, and community driven college it can be. Joining Student Senate has many benefits including meeting new people, developing leadership skills, getting involved on campus, and it's a great resume builder.
