Students interested in participating in the College Credit Plus (CCP) program at Edison State Community College must submit qualifying assessment scores to determine college-readiness and course eligibility. Students may submit scores from the ACCUPLACER Assessment, ACT or SAT assessments.
Click and expand the bars below to review pertinent information regarding testing qualifications for prospective Edison State CCP students.
Based on the Ohio Department of Higher Education remediation-free standards, the following assessment scores are utilized to determine college-readiness and course eligibility at Edison State Community College.
Prospective CCP students who do not have qualifying ACT or SAT scores, may complete the ACCUPLACER
Assessment at Edison State. The assessment can be completed at either the Piqua or Darke County Campus by appointment. To allow for adequate processing time, complete the online application two weeks prior to scheduling the ACCUPLACER assessment. Learn more about the ACCUPLACER assessment by clicking here.
Students MUST bring a copy of their high school transcript and a state-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s license, learner’s permit or passport) to their testing appointment. If you do not have a photo ID, please bring a school ID, social security card or birth certificate along with
a copy of your most recent high school transcript or junior high report card.
Prospective CCP students with qualifying ACT or SAT scores are not required to take the ACCUPLACER assessment. After completing the online application, students should submit their qualifying ACT or SAT scores and their high school transcript to email@example.com or via postal mail to the following address.
ESCC–CCP1973 Edison Drive
Piqua, Ohio 45356
In addition to ACCUPLACER assessment scores, prospective students may be assessed using Multiple Measures procedures. Multiple Measures procedures evaluate student eligibility based upon several factors, including high school transcript, GPA and assessment scores.
