Students interested in participating in the College Credit Plus (CCP) program must submit assessment scores to determine CCP participation eligibility and course eligibility at Edison State Community College.
Students must register to take the ACCUPLACER Assessment or submit qualifying scores from the ACT or SAT. Register to schedule an ACCUPLACER Assessment appointment and/or review submission guidelines for qualifying ACT or SAT scores by expanding the bars below.
Eligibility to participate in the College Credit Plus (CCP) program is determined by state guidelines. Students must meet college-ready benchmark standards in at least one subject area or meet additional qualification standards set by the state, in order to be eligible to participate in CCP.
In addition to program eligibility, assessment scores will be evaluated to determine course eligibility at Edison State. Students must meet course eligibility standards to enroll in courses with prerequisite requirements.
Prospective CCP students who do not have qualifying ACT or SAT scores, musy complete the ACCUPLACER
Assessment at Edison State. The assessment can be completed at either the Piqua or Darke County Campus by appointment. To allow for adequate processing time, complete the online application two weeks prior to scheduling the ACCUPLACER assessment.

Prospective CCP students with qualifying ACT or SAT scores are not required to take the ACCUPLACER assessment. After completing the online application, students should submit their qualifying ACT or SAT scores and their high school transcript to CCP@edisonohio.edu or via postal mail to the following address.

Edison State course eligibility is determined by assessment scores, previously completed high school and college course work and additional course prerequisites. Students will be notified of general course eligibility after the submission of assessment scores and high school transcripts.
Understanding course prerequisites Prerequisites are requirements that must be met prior to enrollment into a college course. Prerequisite requirements vary by course. Common prerequisites may require students to attain college-ready benchmark scores in both reading AND writing (i.e. ENG 121) OR math (MTH 122) to be eligible for enrollment. Students must satisfy all prerequisites prior to course enrollment.
Keep in mind that not all course have prerequisites Students who gain eligibility to the CCP program but who do not meet reading and writing OR math prerequisites can still take courses that have no prerequisites requirements.
Multiple Measures In addition to assessment scores, course eligibility may be determined through Multiple Measures procedures. Multiple Measures assessment evaluates a student's course eligibility based upon several factors, including student's high school transcript, high school GPA and assessment scores.
