Edison State Community College is gearing up for our sixteenth annual Women in STEMM Expo professional conference for young women—a broad-based introduction to STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) and its relationship to different vocations and careers. While young men are welcome, the focus is on girls due to their continuing under-participation in STEMM fields.

This year's all-day expo will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 and provides an introduction to STEMM and its application to different careers. During the day, students explore and apply STEMM related interactive activities and technology to work on real-world solutions. Topics for this year's breakout sessions include Can You See Sound?, "Roll" Into Creative Code, Barbie Bungee Jumping, Take the Spaghetti Challenge, Physics is Phun and more!
