    Edison State Class of 2019

    CONGRATULATIONS to the Graduating Class of 2019!  These are a few fun facts* about our most current class of graduates.

    • There are 479 graduates earning 564 degrees or certificates; 40% are career degrees, 22% are transfer degrees, 37% are 1-year certificates and 2% are certificates of completion or short-term technical certificates.
    • Of the 418 degrees or certificates; 8.51% are Associate of Arts degrees, 13.12% are Associate of Science degrees, 13.12% are Associate of Applied Business degrees, 26.6% are Associate of Applied Science degrees, 37.06% are certificates and 1.6% are short-term technical certificates.
    • The age of 2019 graduates ranges from 16.7 to 60. The median age is 28. 158 (33%) are 21 or younger and 21 (4%) are 50 or older.
    • There are 35 students who will graduate with honors (GPA 3.5–3.74), 46 students will graduate with high honors (GPA 3.75–3.99) and 22 students will graduate with highest honors (GPA 4.0).
    • The 2019 graduating class is 58% female and 42% male.
    • There are 20 Ohio counties represented in the current graduating class.
    • There are 35 graduates that are high school seniors, 1 graduate is a high school junior and 1 graduate is a high school sophomore.
    • 43% of graduates completed at least one developmental course.
    • 39% of graduates transferred credit hours to Edison State.
    • 191 students with transfer credit totaled 7,539 hours transferred, averaging 39.5 hours per student.
    • 48% of 2019 graduates are first-general college grads.
