Preble County Youth Foundation President Bill Dues presents a $5,000 scholarship check to Edison State Vice President of Regional Campuses Chad Beanblossom. |
The Preble County Youth Foundation (PCYF) and The Edison Foundation are partnering to provide scholarship opportunities for residents of Preble County who attend or are planning to attend classes at Edison State Community College’s Campus at Eaton.
Scholarships may be used for tuition, fees, books, technology expenses, and other academic materials required to attend Edison State. This scholarship is established through the generous support of the Preble County Youth Foundation, whose mission is to invest in programs and
facilities that give youth and the community better opportunities and a better future.
The Edison State Campus at Eaton began offering general education courses in January, with more course offerings to become available in the summer and fall semesters. In addition to offering general education courses, the initial focus of the campus will include
agriculture programming as well as the associate of arts and associate of science degrees, which transfer seamlessly to four-year institutions nationwide.
Those interested in applying for the scholarship must be a resident of Preble County and have a 3.0 minimum GPA (high school or other college coursework). GED recipients and new and returning students are eligible to apply. Students can be awarded the scholarship during
multiple academic years. Applicants must submit a short essay and letter of recommendation.
Applications may be completed online at
