Josh will graduate from Edison State Community College as a high school senior.

I grew up in St. Marys and Sidney, Ohio. I love anything to do with sports and played football and basketball for Sidney High School. I plan to enroll at The Ohio State University and work toward a bachelor's degree in finance.

What are you passionate about?  I am very passionate about money and investing, as well as sports, music and traveling.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?  I enjoy working out and pushing my body every day. I love traveling and immersing myself in different cultures and meeting new people. I always try to push beyond my comfort zone and expand my horizons.

Who is your favorite instructor, coach or mentor?  My favorite instructor at Edison State was Mrs. Ruth Barney. Even though I took her economics class online, the class was well-organized and I learned a lot. I would definitely recommend the course to any business major.

If you could instantly become fluent in another language, what would it be?  I would choose German. My ancestors are German and I love the culture and the people.

What school activities, clubs or sports are you involved in?  In high school, I was on the football and basketball teams and was in Sidney High School's National Honor Society, Key Club, Business Professionals of America and the German Club.

What are your career goals?  After I get my bachelor's degree I plan to work as a financial advisor. I eventually want to have my own financial advisory firm working specifically with professional athletes.

What influenced your decision to choose the particular major/career path that you are in?  I have always had a love for numbers and investing and have been investing in the stock market since I was 16 years old. I also love sports and being around athletes. As I recognized that athletes need someone to protect and grow their money, I realized that this was the career path for me.
