Edison Writer's Club is pleased to announce the
2003 Spring Fiction
and Poetry Contest. Enter your best short stories or poems on
any subject.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in all categories,
totaling $360.

Categories
Adult
High School
High school students must include the
name of the school and signature of a teacher or counselor.

All entries must be typed on 8 ˝" x 11" white
paper.
Only original unpublished manuscripts will be accepted.
On removable cover sheet ,
include your full name, address, telephone number and title of
entry. Authors name should not appear on the manuscript.
Do not submit originals, no entries will be returned. Clear
photocopies are acceptable.
Include self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like a list of
winners.
Fiction
must be 1500 words or less, double spaced.
Poems
must be 50 lines or less, single spaced, rhymed or unrhymed.
Winning entries from previous contests may not be reentered.
Note:
Edison Writer's Club reserves the right to disqualify any manuscripts
that do not meet the stated requirements.

The fee for each
entry is:

Enter as many times as you'd
like. Only one cash prize will be awarded per entrant.
Please include the proper fee for
each entry. Multiple entries can be mailed using one check
made out to:

Deadline
All
entries must be postmarked no later than
March 15.
Judging
All
entries will be judged anonymously by members of the Edison Writer's
Club.
Winners
Winners will be notified by mail. Public announcement will be
made at a Coffeehouse style Open Reading to be held in May, in
the Edison Student Lounge.
At the
Reading, winners will be announced and cash awards presented. Winning
authors will be invited to read their entries.
