Eligibility Time Line

Students who are new to Edison and who qualify for the College Tech Prep Scholarship may apply for the scholarship any semester during the first two years after they graduate from high school.

Returning students are eligible for the scholarship as long as they maintain continuous enrollment in a College Tech Prep career program or selected pathway, maintain a grade point average of 2. 5 or above, and register for six or more credit hours. 

Military Options: For a student who elects to go on ACTIVE duty after high school, the "Scholarship eligibility time clock" will stop once they officially enter into the military and when they are officially discharged from duty, the "eligibility time clock will resume where it left off" until the two year time frame has been met.  IF a student has started his/her classes at Edison Community College and they are CALLED-UP, they may resume their scholarship once they return.  Students will receive articulated credits whenever they start classes at Edison Community College.
