College Tech Prep History

Launched in 1991, the initiative currently serves more than 21,000 students in 750 programs. Twenty-three College Tech Prep consortia coordinate local programs in collaboration with:

  • 44 Ohio Public Colleges and Universities
      
  • 91 Ohio Career-Technical Planning Districts
       
  • 893+ school districts
       
  • 1,800+ business, labor organizations
