The program gives students real-world working experience, career exploration, and training in today's newest technologies. The Upper Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium works with 15 area high schools, covering a three county area, to create seamless career-technical education programs that begin in the junior year of high school and continue through an associate degree in college and beyond. The College Tech Prep program increases student competence in math, science, and communications, and gives them the skills, training and experience necessary to enter and complete a two-year college program. In this way, College Tech Prep prepares students for success in tomorrow's workplace.
