Isn’t college just for the smartest kids in school?

No, most students have the ability to attend college. The jobs of the future demand a highly trained work force with college level skills. Community colleges like Edison have many support services for students who want a good career but have not been top notch high school students.

How could I ever afford to go to college? I hear it is very expensive.

Community colleges are very affordable. Currently, tuition and fees at two year colleges in Ohio average about $3,516 per year. College Tech Prep students who qualify for the one half tuition scholarship attend Edison for about $1,725 per year, or a little more than $144 per month.
