How to Apply for a College Tech Prep Scholarship

- Secure supervising College Tech Prep teacher's signature, verifying
grade point average.
- Complete the placement test at Edison (Compass). To schedule
the Compass, call Edison 937-778-8600 or 800-922-3722, ext. 318. At this time, you
will also make an appointment with an academic advisor. Bring the
College Tech Prep Scholarship
Application with you when you come to meet the academic advisor. The advisor will
certify that you have completed Compass and do not require any developmental courses.
- Complete the Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Student
Financial Aid Application. Forms are available in the Financial
Aid Office, room 020.
- Register for classes in a College Tech Prep career area. You
must register for at least six credit hours to receive this scholarship.
- This scholarship is renewable each year as
long as the student remains enrolled in a Tech Prep career area and
maintains a grade point average of 2.0 or above, and until the student
has achieved the number of credit hours required for his/her degree.
