mood disorders, eating disorders, substance-related disorders,

Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition

the physical and psychological growth of the child. Focus is
on physical, cognitive, and personality development from

Psychology
Major theories and concepts of psychological development
over the life span will be discussed. Physical development
will be studied with emphasis on intellectual and social
