PHI 121S Introduction to Philosophy
Survey of classical and contemporary philosophy through selected metaphysical and epistemological problems. Students will pursue a systematic study of enduring human concerns about God, society, the self, and knowledge. Theories of reality, belief, truth, knowledge, and evidence are examined. Syllabus
PHI 123S Introduction to Ethics
Introduction to the problem of moral conduct, right and wrong, and good and evil. Classical and contemporary theories are examined as the basis for dealing with contemporary moral concerns with selected problems of individual choice, political decisions, and social institutions.  Syllabus
