Requirements for
Admission to the Nursing Program
Admission to the nursing program is competitive. Admission to Edison
Community College does not guarantee admission to the nursing
program.
A satisfactory math assessment score and three years of college
preparatory mathematics or a grade of "C" or better in MTH
099D, Intermediate Algebra II, and one year of high school chemistry
or CHM 110S, and Introduction to Chemistry. Science and math prerequisites need to be
completed by December 31 of the year prior to desired admission to
the nursing program. A grade point average of 2.5 or higher is also
required.
Application deadline is November 1st for admission to the following
fall or spring semester. Applications for the Nursing Program will
be available August 1, in the Nursing Office, the Admissions Office
and at the Darke County Campus. For more information, you may call
