Student Health Services 

Darlene Francis RN, BSN, Director of the college's Student Health Services program is available to answer your questions and offers a variety of services and activities, at low or no cost.

Services:

  • HIV testing - Free HIV testing is offered the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 9am - 11am.  Testing is provided by the Vince Carter, HIV Educator/Counselor for the Clark County Combined Health District
  • Walk in treatment for minor injury and illness care
  • Flu vaccines
  • Health Screenings
  • Health information and Educational Resources
  • Ask the Nurse
  • HealthWise newsletters
  • Community Referrals
  • Blood pressure and weight at the LifeClinic kiosk in the north atrium

Confidentiality:
The strictest confidentiality is maintained in all health services offered to students and staff.

Emergencies:
In case of a health emergency, call the switchboard (dial "0") with the following information:

  • Nature of emergency
  • Location (room/floor/building)
    The switchboard will contact the appropriate resources to respond.
