Application Services
“711, how can we help”, is a phrase you hear quite often and is the main focus of the
Application Services Unit of Information Technology Services. In addition to managing an 8
a.m. to 5 p.m. personal help desk operation, as a unit we offer a wide variety of services to the Edison Community.
Faculty members might be interested in Blackboard, an
online course management software that can be used for
both online and regular course offerings, or perhaps creating or
updating a departmental Web site. Others may be interested in using the Tegrity or Polycom systems for distance learning classes, offering students an alternative method of learning. The
Application Services Unit will assist you with your software questions
and training needs, PDF and HTML file conversions, and special projects.
Whatever your ITS needs are, we are here to help.
