Used to play CD music. This can be played over the PA system in our theatre, or may be a portable unit to take to any class.

Video projector used in conjunction with a laptop computer to project image on screen.

Used to display charts or signage

Available for staff use when needing a portable computer

Microphones - Other:
Used in theatre presentations where more than one person needs to be heard by audience.

Used in theatre presentations

Microphone - Wireless :
Used in cases where a speaker needs to move around, or when presenter needs hands to use overhead projector.
Lapel or handheld available, please specify which type you need.

Mimio Flipchart:
Same as Mimio Whiteboard with the exception that the device attaches to a flipchart.

Mimio Whiteboard:
An electronic device that attaches to a whiteboard for annotations and notes to be saved to a computer. It can be used for on-line distribution or to print for handouts.
(Used in conjunction with a computer or laptop)

Mobile Speaker System
Includes a mixer/amplifier and 2 large
speakers. Can be used in any large room not equipped with
a speaker system.

Overhead:
Used for overhead projections of presentation material.
You must supply your own markers. There is an overhead in all
classrooms except 104, 115 and 454.

Portable Whiteboard:
For use in rooms that have no whiteboard.

Projector Screens:
Portable projection screens for off-site use or for rooms without screens.

Record Player:
Used to play records upto 78 r.p.m.

Slide Dissolve Unit:
Used as a dissolve transition device between two slide projectors.

Slide Projector:
Used to project slides. Please specify if you need a slide carousel.

Smart Cart:
Portable cart equipped with an LCD projector,
computer and a VCR. For use in any room not equipped as a
"Smart Classroom". Please

Smart Classroom:
All classrooms are now equipped with an LCD
projector, computer, VCR and speaker. The computer
includes a DVD/CD-ROM player.

Teleconference setup:
Used for theater presentations where a video tape or a satellite program is viewed.
Setup includes video projector and VCR.

Tape Player:
Portable tape player to play or record audio tapes.

TV/VCR:
Portable Television with VCR connected to play tapes
