New! Practical Project Management
Organizations depend upon projects to develop new products, make operational improvements, and accomplish strategic initiatives. Effective project management processes are vital for the successful implementation of these and other projects. This three-day seminar is designed for professionals who manage projects or experienced managers who wish to review and reinforce best practices in project management. You will learn a foundation in the rationale, tools, and techniques for each of the phases of the project management life cycle as defined by the Project Management Institute's Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide). In addition, you will receive an overview of skills for the "people side" so critical for project success: leading and motivating people, communication and managing performance. You will learn project management skills through case studies, hands-on exercises and practical application to your own real-life projects. Space is limited, so register early!
Fridays, February 20, February 27, and March 6, 2015, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Piqua Campus. Lunch included.
Course number: YHR 356B 701SS2014SS. $695
