We realize that college can be expensive. While you, as a student, are primarily responsible for financing your education, the Financial Aid Office is here to help you with other sources of funding. These funds may come from the student grant, scholarship, loan, or work-study programs.
The two most important things to know about financial aid:
- Apply early
- Read
The longer you wait to complete the necessary steps the more likely it is that you will need to make a payment on your classes while your financial aid is being processed.
The more you know now, the fewer problems you are likely to experience later.
The Financial Aid Office works to determine eligibility as quickly as possible. However, if all information necessary to determine your eligibility is not received by the appropriate deadline, we cannot guarantee any specific timeline for the awarding of aid. If the aid is not awarded by the time payment is due, you may need to make a payment on your classes in order to retain your status as a registered student.
Edison Community College can be an affordable option. Let us help you learn how to finance your education.
