Internet
Technologies
The Internet Technologies program
prepares persons to participate in the broad range
of activities associated with delivering electronic,
integrated information in a variety of forms through
a variety of media. Examples include
interactive media, hypertext, World Wide Web pages,
rich media, electronic commerce and data-driven
customized documents. Students choosing this
field should expect to be challenged by rapidly
evolving technologies and trends.
Graduates
of the program may qualify for a variety of jobs
popularly known as "web masters","web architects",
or "application designer". Courses in this program
may also be of value to persons seeking to enhance
their current careers, or to complement other fields
of study.
As a career
degree, the curriculum is based on job skills rather
than transferability. However many Ohio
colleges and universities may accept this major.
Alliance and 2+2 options may apply. Students
should consult with an advisor for transfer
information.
