Social Service Technician or Social Service Assistant is a trained
paraprofessional worker who assists other helping professionals such
as social workers, counselors, caseworkers, and therapists.

agencies and social service programs such as:

developmentally disabled

Those entering the career field, must be
comfortable with writing and paperwork. Documentation consumes
anywhere from 30% to 50% of any given working day in many social
agencies.
