Mid-Year
Transfer |
If you are transferring from another school there are several
important steps that you must take to apply for financial aid at
Edison Community College. Financial
aid, including student loans, does not automatically transfer
from one school to another!
- The first step you must take is to cancel any pending
aid, at your previous school. Most schools require this
request in writing. Contact the financial aid office
at the school you are leaving to find out their notification
preference.
- If you have already completed the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid, you must add Edison's federal school
code to your completed FAFSA. Visit
www.fafsa.ed.gov,
click on "Make a correction to FAFSA, and go to step 6 of
the FAFSA form. Edison's school code is 012750.
- Complete Edison's Financial Aid Application Procedures.
Students who received a Stafford Loan in the current year at
a previous college must submit a Stafford Loan Request form
and complete and online Master Promissory Note (MPN), to
determine remaining eligibility at Edison.
