
What
services are available at the Darke County Campus? |
- Individual placement testing for
first-time students.

- Academic advisors work with students to
answer questions about courses and programs; to help them
plan appropriate course work for each semester; to track
progress toward degree completion; and to refer them to the
appropriate full-time faculty member when they reach 30
semester hours of credit in their degree program.

- Computer lab support for classes at the
Center as well as on-line classes offered by the college.
|
- Library access through any computer
classroom computer.
|
- Career information and planning.
Students may use the Ohio Career Information Service on any
classroom computer to research careers and
preparation/requirements for those careers. They may also
make an appointment to meet individually with a
representative of the Career Development Office when they
visit one day a month.

- Free tutoring in various subject areas
including personal computers, Math and English.
Two-way video conferencing with Piqua campus
Learning Center is available
in those subjects available only on the Piqua Campus.

- Services and adaptive equipment for
those students with special needs.
|
Intercampus Transportation
Greenville Transit System offers bus service
from Greenville to the Piqua Campus Monday through Friday. Trips must be booked in
advance; for more information please visit the
Greenville Transit System web site.
Additional transportation options are also available through
Community Transportation (937-547-9129) and Spirit Transport LLC
((37-548-2800). Darke County Job and Family Services, 631
Wagner Ave., Greenville, can also assist in transportation for
clients who meet needs-based criteria. |
