ABSENT: Mona Walters, Kathy Clifton, and Keith Kamerer
NOTE: The CQI Room Scheduling committee has lost two members due to resignations:
Chuck Jones and Shannon Stucker
ITEMS DISCUSSED:
The approved guidelines that the committee developed were discussed. There were multiple concerns regarding how and why the guidelines were not being followed, the impact on other departments in the college when they are not followed, enforcement of guidelines, etc.
It was felt by the committee members that the guidelines met immediate resistance from persons unwilling to comply and that exceptions were sought before anyone could determine if the guidelines indeed would work. It was suggested that the original guidelines and the need for compliance be reiterated to all staff. The responsible people on the committee will document the problems, exceptions, etc., for six months and then reconvene to determine what changes need to be made, if any.
