Meeting Minutes
March 7, 2007

Present: Ann Miller, Brad Reed, Gretchen Grilliot, David Gansz, and Jane Salisbury-CQI Process Leader.

Absent: Chuck Steel, Becki Lawhorn

The next steps from the December 2006 meeting were reviewed:

Gretchen Rentz:
Gretchen met with Gail Lee regarding the information being collected online for student inquiries. At this time Gail feels that all information collected is necessary. An additional option for student inquiries (Quick Questions) has been added to the web site as well as multiple options for the students to choose to receive answers to those questions. Gretchen asked if a change could be made in the layout of the form to make it appear to be more compact.

Gretchen has contacted two students to provide their stories for the web site. When the stories are complete she will send a copy to Ann Miller and Brad Reed and ask the students to schedule a time to have their photos taken.

Gretchen reported that the focus groups are scheduled to meet in April. Ann Miller suggested that each of the team members forward a list of care words (20) to be merged together to be reviewed by the focus groups. Gretchen will keep us up-to-date on the dates of the focus groups.

Becki Lawhorn:
Becki was not in attendance at the meeting but sent her update via e-mail. She has contacted Pam Gibellino, and Pam is open to suggestions from this team. Becki also contacted Terri Jacomet for additional alumni stories from the web site. A discussion was held about possible additional students, and areas to be represented that could be part of the stories on the web site.

Brad Reed:
Brad has asked for student information at senate. He thought that Nancy Cooper’s group had four students for the 2nd floor landing wall space. Ann Miller will contact Nancy Cooper for information on those students to be included on the web site.

Ann Miller:
Ann suggested that the first plan of attack for the web site redesign would be for the content areas for admissions and registration. Gretchen Rentz asked for ideas for web sites that could possible be modeled. Next Steps:
Ann Miller:

• Work on revising the layout on the current student inquiry form.

• Will forward the student stories to Ann and Brad.

• Will keep the group posted on the dates and times of the focus groups

Becky Lawhorn & Gretchen Rentz:

• Begin working on the text heavy content of the Admissions and Registration sites.

• Forward list of care words to Ann Miller for compilation for the focus groups.
