There needs to be a way to identify students needing intervention for technical, or academic reasons.
Develop and pilot an online survey for summer semester.

Copy to committee members for feedback.

At least part of the questions need to assess student satisfaction.

Ann Miller, Cecelia Green, and Kathy Clifton will work on the survey.

The survey needs to be finished by August 1, 2002.

Online faculty need to be notified that the survey will be happening for the summer semester courses.

Online instructors will be shown the survey before it is given to students.
Ann Miller to contact Fred McFarland at ConnectWeb to see if there is a survey function as part of ConnectWeb.
Mary Beth reported that the previous survey of online courses indicated and 80% success rate for students (C or better).
An instructor satisfaction survey also needs to be developed in the future for the CQI needs as well as for the Content Grant, and AQIP requirements.
Ann Miller expressed concern about instructors moving into the online environment with limited online experience and technical abilities.
