The Distance Learning Support Process
Team met Oct. 2 with the following members present:

Ann Miller
Bert Waldrop
Kathy Clifton

Sharon Brown
Sandy Brubaker
Jane Salisbury, facilitator
Ann and Brad distributed consolidated guidelines for distance learning,
incorporating CQI and AQIP recommendations. The guidelines will be
distributed to faculty, academic administrators, and adjuncts, as well
as advisors for online and web-flex courses.
Discussion of training and support of Interactive 2-way video led to the
chartering of a subteam. The subteam's charge is to:
Define and recommend a process for developing and delivering instruction
via interactive videoconferencing.
Kathy Clifton agreed to chair the subteam. Invited to participate on the
team are Cecelia Green, Lisa Alred, Janice Michael, Dave Barth, Harry
Lawhorn and Maggie Myers.
The subteam is to report at the next regular meeting, or sooner if
appropriate.
Discussion of persons to replace attritioned members was deferred until
closer to the next meeting.
The next meeting will be the beginning of Academic Year 2004-05, unless
the subteam is ready to report.
