Team Charge Statement:
Determine procedure for the creation of, training for and terminating usage rights of staff electronic accounts including e-mail (Exchange), LAN and keycard access.

Committee concerns:
How are adjuncts LAN/e-mail accounts being kept up to date? Some adjuncts are not included in the adjunct distribution list. Is the electronic account maintenance form working? Keys are still not being returned when termination of employment occurs. Notification of the correct time to delete terminated employee LAN and e-mail accounts as well as web page information.
Committee actions:
The team decided that the personnel department would provide a list of current adjunct faculty members twice a semester. Based on that list, accounts would be disabled. Accounts disabled for a year would be deleted. A list of current adjunct faculty will be provided so that they can be added to the adjunct faculty distribution list. It was discussed that the new electronic account maintenance form was working well with the exception that the adjunct faculty area of instruction should be added. Brent Adkins will be consulted
and asked to address to everyone at Edison Community College the importance of returning keys to his department. Susan in
personnel will inform Ann, Helen and Bert as to when terminated employees keys, accounts and update web page information are to be dealt with.
