Team Charge Statement:
Determine procedure for the creation of, training for, and terminating
usage rights of staff electronic accounts including e-mail (Exchange),
LAN and keycard access.
Time line for resolution:
During the coming semesters
Committee concerns:
The committee met to address the concerns of the personnel department on
the issue of receiving the “Employee Checkout” form. They have not been
getting these forms back consistently.
Committee actions:
The committee members present discussed the issue of the “Employee
Checkout” form. It was decided that it should be the employee’s
responsibility to get departmental signatures and their own signature on
the form and to return it to personnel. The checkout form will be
changed to state this responsibility on the top of the document.
Additionally, Bert will check with Keith Kamerer and Darrel Isaacs to
ask about the ability to hold final pay checks and any legality issues
this might cause as a way to insure the form being returned.
