Team Charge Statement:
Determine procedure for the creation of, training for and terminating
usage rights of staff electronic accounts including e-mail (Exchange),
LAN and keycard access.
Time line for resolution:
During the coming semesters
Committee concerns:
The committee met to see if current newly created processes were
working. Becky presented two versions of an employee resignation
acknowledgement letter and checkout form for the review of the
committee. There is a concern that network account and webpage
information as well as key card access is not updated when employees
change positions internally
Committee actions:
The committee members present agreed the current newly created processes
were working. The committee decided on one of the versions of the
employee resignation acknowledgement letter and checkout form with a few
minor changes. The team decided that the personnel department would
create an updated employee change of information form. It is proposed
that this form will be sent electronically to Terri Jacomet, Ann Miller,
Bert Waldrop and Helen Willcox so that appropriate updates can be made
to their network account and webpage information as well as correct key
card access.
