Team Charge Statement: Determine procedure for the creation of, training for and terminating usage rights of staff electronic accounts including e-mail (Exchange), LAN and keycard access.

Time line for resolution: March 1, 2002.

Committee concerns: Review of new Electronic Account Maintenance form. Discuss revision of current Employee Orientation Checklist form.

Committee actions: The team reviewed the new Electronic Account Maintenance form that was created. The new form has detailed information for the electronic catalog as well as personal contact information so the new employee can be informed of their accounts and how to get training for their particular needs. It was decided the form should be routed to Ann Miller, Bert Waldrop, Helen Willcox and a copy kept in personnel. A decision was made on the existing 
Employee Orientation Checklist form that it should be revised to 
include a check box for the new Electronic Maintenance form as 
well as a checkout list for when employment is terminated. Section 
x of the form should be changed to electronic account activation 
instead of its current title of Activation of Exchange account. The 
new form and request for form revision will be addressed to Keith 
Kamerer in the Personnel department.

Next meeting: February 28, 2002 at 8:30 am in the Board room.
