Actions:
- Steve
Whiteman reported that Randi Wheaton had been elected to represent
the classified staff to Dr. Yowell and to sit on the President’s
Cabinet. Steve was to notify Libbie Eyer that she was not selected,
and Jane Salisbury was to email all classified staff of the election
results. Jane also notified the President’s Office of the election
results and indicated Randi should be notified of upcoming Cabinet
meetings.
- The
“Sharing Survey” entries were viewed by the group through the
summary mode of the Zoomerang Survey site. Entries included items
related to the following:
--Good things to

Increased student success
in online classes

Joy Committee activity
within Student Development and the effect on building
interdepartmental relationships.

No
complaints/"Comfortable in my space" comments.
--Concerns to be

Child safety in parking
lots

Security personnel
behavior patterns

Pay stubs now being put
into mailboxes and related personal security issues

No supervisor activity in
blackboard discussion site of Repository.
Jane Salisbury was to email the
college community relating the survey results. Also, those staff
directly related to issues of concern were to be notified of the
specific concerns. Those included Dan Reke, Cheryl Buecker, Natalie
Heath, Darrel Isaacs, and the CQIN 2005 Team.
- The
Administrative Professional employee sector was to be notified of
the election process for meetings with Dr. Yowell. The same process
as was used by the classified staff will be followed.
Issues:
There has been
expressed concern that the Repository sites are not anonymous.
Next
Meeting: The team will meet December 2 in the Board Room to review
the entries made in the Sharing Survey.
