MEMBERS PRESENT: Terri
Jacomet, Diane Arnold, Eileen Thompson, Keith Kamerer
- Terri distributed a set of note cards that Betty
Blue was able to design. After discussion, the committee agreed to have
sets of these cards printed. Michael Fleishman will work with Betty on
final designs of these cards. Sets of 10 cards will be given to staff
members, with a memo explaining this initiative, which has resulted from
comments from survey respondents.
- Terri will ask Betty to print up 50 Thank You
cards. These cards will contain a thank you message to all respondents of
our request for comments and signed by the committee members at our next
meeting.
- Another initiative that the committee will begin
is the renewal of the Edison Who’s Who. Terri will confer with Carol
Rigola this week to discuss the implementation and then maintenance of the
Who’s Who. The initial suggestion is to post the publication on Public
Folders, where employees can print it at will. Keith suggested that
personnel initiate the process with new employees, which could also be
added to the update as an introduction.
- Another suggestion that was reiterated was to
put all adjunct birthdays on the Daily Update. Terri will talk to faculty
support for ideas. The committee would like to try this for Summer Term.
