MEMBERS PRESENT: Terri
Jacomet, Diane Arnold, Eileen Thompson

The committee
agreed to send a thank-you out to all those who took the time to give
feedback and suggestions to the committee on how to improve Recognition.
-
Acting upon a
frequently repeated suggestion, the committee is designing and will ask
for the help of Betty Blue to print a series of small greeting cards.
These cards will be specifically available to Administrative personnel
to acknowledge a variety of efforts and events, such as birthdays,
thank-yous, congratulations, welcomes, work anniversaries, etc. Keith
and Phil will take to Deans Council.

Terri will be
generating a list of respondents, so that acknowledgement can be sent to
them Eileen Thompson – adjuncts; Mike Fleishman – full-time faculty;
Keith Kamerer – administrative staff; Terri Jacomet and Diane Arnold –
Classified staff.

The committee
also generated a list of the committee’s activities over the past year,
which will be summarized and forwarded to Jane Salisbury for her report.

There will be no
meeting during finals week; the next committee meeting will take place
on Thursday, 15 May 2003, from 1-2 p.m. in room 413.
