MEMBERS PRESENT:  Terri Jacomet, Diane Arnold, Keith Kamerer, Eileen Thompson, Michael Fleishman, Phil Lootens

• Survey glitches have been remedied.

• Review of updated survey results:

  • Data shows that it is not a classification of employee that should be addressed as mentioned in original documentation, but the topic of recognition.  (Do we need to change the verbiage in the action project?  Dr. Salisbury?)

  • The committee suggests the possibility of the formation of four focus groups comprised of members of each staff classification:  administration, classified, full-time faculty, and adjunct faculty.  These focus groups would generate ideas which can be taken more globally to the campus community for feedback on the suggestions.

  • Keith Kamerer will prepare an email to “Everyone at Edison” for distribution this week.  The email will summarize the data that has been compiled.  It will also request ideas/comments/volunteers for focus groups.

The next meeting will take place on Monday, 17 February 2003, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Room 413.  We will review any feedback that results from the distributed email and begin choosing focus groups.
