MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 3, 2002
MEMBERS PRESENT: Becky Telford,
Maggie Myers, Truman Bashore, Ruth Barney, and Iden Smith
At the previous
meeting the team had reviewed the feedback from the AQIP Strategy Forum.
This did not generate any ideas for changing the project that was
submitted so the project will be left as submitted.
Becky Telford
generated the requested lists of courses that were being taught in at
least two formats. At this point the team realized that it also needs a
complete list of all on-line and Web flex classes. Some of these may be
taught in just the on-line or Web flex format so they would not appear on
the original list that was requested. Becky Telford will provide the
needed information.
The survey that
was used in the summer for on-line courses will be reviewed at the next
meeting. Its appropriateness for determining student satisfaction will be
the issue of concern to the team.
The team discussed
the survey that will be needed at the end of the semester for unsuccessful
students. General ideas for how it should be worded were discussed.
Members were asked to brings ideas to the next meeting.
The next meeting
is September 17 at 2:00 in room 057.
