Non-Federal Work Study Process

Present:  Carole Mestemaker, Linda Peltier, Kathleen O’Brien, Becky Pepiot, Kathi Richards, Natalie Rindler, Sharon Trittschuh, and Dr. Salisbury

Absent:  Nancy Madden 

Team Leader:  Linda Peltier

Purpose:  To review the final process mapping draft for the federal and non-federal work study programs. 

Time Line:  December 2006

Minutes:

The team reviewed and completed the federal and non-federal work study program processes.  After discussion, the team decided:

Ø       The process name should be changed from CQI Non-Federal Work Study Process to CQI Work Study Processes.

Ø       Student worker and supervisor handbooks will be maintained and held in HR.  The time sheet portion of this process will be added to the manuals.

Ø       Supervisor training will be designed and held prior to implementation of this process by HR.

Ø       HR will initiate the review of the supervisor handbook for necessary updates.

Ø       Sharon Trittschuh and Carole Mestemaker will post time sheets in Public Folders prior to process implementation. 

Linda Peltier will send the draft process to team members for final review with comments to be returned to her by Tuesday, January 23.  Dr. Salisbury and Linda Peltier will meet with Dr. Yowell for possible approval and implementation ASAP with a tentative implementation date of March 1.
