benefits of a CIT Internship?
CIT291 might be just what you’re
looking for! Students who qualify work in an IT department within an
organization for 14 hours a week for 16 weeks. Students who complete
the program will receive 3 semester hours of college credit. This is a
great opportunity to gain valuable career experience before
graduation. CIT students are required to complete either CIT216 or
CIT291 before graduation.
Prerequisites:
a minimum of 12 CIT
hours completed
CIT211 and CIT215
maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
Since beginning the
Internship program in the fall of 1995, we have had over 200 Edison
students placed in such organizations as Alcoa in Sidney, Upper
Valley Medical Center in Troy, Edison in Piqua, Systemax in Fletcher,
Miami East High School, Anna Schools, Greenville Technologies, NKParts
in Sidney, TeleSuite in Englewood, Copeland Corporation in Sidney,
Panasonic in Troy, Honda in Anna, the Ohio Deptartment of
Transportation, Hartzell in Piqua, and OSI in Troy.
